Adventure Tours reveal new look

Adventure Tours reveal new look Adventure Tours Logo 150x79 Adventure Tours Australia this week unveiled its new look, including contemporary logo and updated branding. The new branding was rolled out on the company’s website on Tuesday, with other mediums, including vehicle livery and guide uniforms, to follow suit in the coming months.

New look brochures will be released to international agents in mid-December, in time for the 2012 season, while domestic brochures will follow next year.

The 2012 brochures are to feature three unique tour styles – Budget ‘no‐frills’, Explorer ’traditional style’ and Safari ‘premium touring’, designed to reflect growing market needs and a greater traveller choice.

“The new logo and branding has been designed to incorporate elements of the old logo and styling, combined with a modern twist for 2011 and beyond,” said ATA marketing manager Monica Baker.

“The addition of the Australian map outline has streamlined the logo, enabling the destination to be instantly recognisable in a fast paced competitive market.”

ATA’s  group sales manager David Thomson added: “We are thrilled to finally reveal our new logo and brand style to the market after months of hard work and planning. The update will capture the essence of our core business and reflect our market.”

  16. It looks like they used the same graphic designer as Travellers Autobarn. But Travellers released their new logo months ago… Copy Cats!

  18. Gee, was debating as to whether I should point this out, but then someone else pointed it out to me as well, but it’s terribly similar to our logo…..Travellers Auto Barn….
Not sure what that means but will assume it’s a validation of the direction we took many months back. In any case, ours is way, way better though……….way.

  22. a most unexciting logo. The Australia map outline is not instantly recognized and as someone above mentioned, looks more like a flame. I would love to hear what this logo says in brand style because I do not get it.

  34. Maybe (edited for legal reasons) they’re about to pull out of Tassie! They seem to be downsizing all their other routes and workforce. If I was in the logo design department I’d be worried!

  38. The new logo has lost its touch with what the company represents – traditional outback country from the Northern Territory. Although updated, very plain, average – it doesn’t stand out to me as a company that is offering an experience of a lifetime that’s truly unique to anywhere else in the world. Great disappointment

  42. The new logo is plain, boring and embarrassing. The old logo has been around for as long as ATA and is recognised by travel agents and tourists all over australia (and the world). The new look does not stand out at all.

  46. Interesting how it evokes negativity from what looks to be anon competitors. There’s a lesson here – If we in this industry feel moved enough to trash our competition, there’s a fair chance they’re doing something right. So well done…. Pardon the burger pun.
